Bei der Einführung eines landesweiten Sozialpunktesystems hinkt China seinem ursprünglichen Zeitplan hinterher. Das System besteht aus verstreuten Feldversuchen, die hauptsächlich den wirtschaftlichen Austausch von Firmen regeln. Die politische Kontrolle von Individuen steht derzeit nicht im Mittelpunkt, doch das kann sich ab jetzt recht schnell ändern. Die Einführung wird in der Bevölkerung eher begrüßt als kritisiert.
