No agreement on EUDR: what happens now

The EU Parliament and Council were unable to reach an agreement on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) on Thursday. The Council only wants to postpone the start of application, while the Parliament also wants changes to the content. A compromise is needed soon in order to adopt the postponement in time.

ECJ Advocate General: Old diesel cars must pass new test procedures

200 million older diesel cars could be "taken out of service" if the ECJ agrees with the Advocate General's opinion. The case involves two older diesel cars. The Duisburg Regional Court wanted to know how it should deal with the performance of the vehicles in emissions tests.
