Euro 7 emissions standard: conflict enters the next round

Before the end of this year, the EU Commission plans to set new limits for exhaust emissions from cars and trucks that will apply from 2025. However, the announcement of the Euro 7 emissions standard alone caused a stir in the automotive industry, which continues to fear a ban on internal combustion engines "through the back door." Environmental organizations smell dirty tricks from the industry.

Matthias Buck: 'moving forward in climate protection from day one'

Matthias Buck sees sufficient overlaps between the Greens and the FDP. In an interview with Timo Landenberger, the political scientist says that both parties stand for issues of the future and are thus compatible in Europe.
